Collections offer a way for editors to curate our marketplace by organizing content around a common theme. Similar to other marketplaces, collections are purely an editorial tool and we'll work with you to make sure they get published in the appropriate areas.
Editorial collections are currently limited to users and teams that have been approved by an admin. This way, we can better manage the editorial quality of the marketplace and fine-tune our offering during beta. That said, we may eventually open this up to the broader community and are open to your suggestions in the meantime.
To submit a collection, simply click the 'Submit New' button at the top of the page and then follow the prompts in the page wizard. While working on your collection, make sure to save your progress so you can come and go as you please. When you're ready, simply click 'Submit for Review' on the final page to notify our team.
Collections offer an effective way to organize and highlight content around a common theme. They also highlight your expertise as a developer and taste-maker on our platform.
In general, we're open to any collection that organizes content on our platform in a meaningful way. However, the wizard and our database modeling does have limitations such as the type and variation of your collection. If you run into issues, simply contact support and someone will happily assist you.
Once you submit your collection, our team will receive a notification indicating you are ready for review. Most submissions take less than 24 hours. And, if we have questions, we'll be sure to reach out. When approved, we'll alert you via email and publish your collection to the marketplace immediately.
Yes. You can edit your collection at anytime via the submission flow until it gets published to the marketplace. After that, you can manage your collection via your profile.
No. You can submit a collection free of charge.
Submitting a collection to Playbooks does not guarantee we will publish your work. That said, we view our editorial team as critical partners to our mission and the community-driven approach we are taking. So, we'll always work with you to overcome any differences and ensure a successful outcome.
